Alternately, I can quickly mix a tiny serving together if I want to have a snack with apple or celery slices.At the time of this review the retail price was around $19 for two 6.5 oz jars. This calculates to approximately $0.63 per serving which is 2 tablespoons. There are 15 servings in each jar. I think the biggest story is the lack of fat compared to its more typical cousin. If you're on a type of diet in which you really need to watch your fat intake, this is probably something you could consider. Second, it mixes incredibly easy! Essentially you mix an equal parts powder to water, adding a wee bit more if desired. That's for if you wanted to use this as a sandwich spread, which was what I did.I had also checked out the chocolate version by the same brand, and I have to say that this had a very different texture. It was almost fluffy (and I mixed both in small bowls with only a fork). I kind of enjoyed the texture here, and the flavor profile -while not as good - was in the same realm as Nutella.I had been a bit let-down on the shelf-life, as I had hoped since it was a powder, it might last longer. The jar I have only lasts another year, so that's really no different than traditional spreads. This would be a nice product if you use spreads like this a whole lot (and wanted to decrease the fat) or if you like a good smoothie.
